Last weekend I picked some red currant from a bush on the common (read more about that here) and today I picked some more. I filled a big bowl in about 20 minutes, and then it took about 30 minutes to separate the berries from the twigs. Only about half the volume remained after that. Kind of a lot of work for not so many berries, but I still think it's worth it. Now we have a couple of litres of red currant in the freezer, they're so delicious together with raspberries and other berries plus turkish yoghurt for my afternoon snack.
Mmm. Så gott.. Jag vill oxå ha det i frysskåp men vårt buskar bär var redan slut innan de mognade.. =( Kram Jos
