Hastings: It's Miranda Brooks.
Poirot: Aah, Hastings. You still have the hankering for the glamorous young woman, ah?
Hastings: No, no, no, no, not at all. Quite the opposite, in fact. It's just that, well there she was, as you say, a glamorous young woman, who with a bit of a wig and a few bits of make up could transform herself into that dowdy hag of a nurse.
Poirot: Yes, it was indeed very well done, Hastings.
Hastings: But. Well... I mean, if a woman can do that one way, she can do it the other.
Poirot: Ah, Hastings.
