A couple of weeks before Christmas, Martin came home with two amaryllis. So far only one of them is blossoming, it's some sort of striped kind that I think looks kind of like a peppermint cane - which is both Christmaslike and sweet. The top photo is this week's postcard for Shanon. Now there is only one postcard left before our project is finished, I think it'll feel a bit empty when it's done.

I hope my amaryllis turns out half as pretty! (It's going to be a deep red.)
It will be so strange when our project is done! It really kept me on track this year, even when it was hard to remember, or sometimes I would have shot nothing at all for weeks!
Kram Karin
Shanon: Thanks, I'm very happy with it! I hope your turns out really pretty too :)
I agree, it's been a good way to keep up the photography during low-inspiration periods :)
Kram/Moa
